Ethical Hacking Course
In this course we will learn about what is Ethical Hacking.
Ethical Hacking involves an authorized attempt to gain unauthorized access to a computer system, application or data. Carrying out an Ethical hack involves duplicating strategies and actions of malicious attackers.
Q. Now who are an Ethical hackers?
A. Ethical hackers are security experts that performs these security assessments. The proactive work they do helps to improve an organization security posture and they are opposite from malicious hacking.
Q. Things about Ethical hackers and Ethical Hacking?
A. *Ethical hacking is a legal type of hacking which can performed.
*Ethical hackers mainly work for Government or any private company to protect there server, information, data etc.
*Ethical hackers are also known as White hat hackers.
Q. Now what are the Goals of an Ethical hacker?
A. 1. An Ethical hacker have to protect the privacy of the client company data or organization been hacked.
2.Transparently report of all identified weaknesses in the computer system to the organization.
3.Inform hardware and software vendors of the identified weakness.
Q. Why Ethical Hacking?
A. Ethical hacking states that Information is Valuable and getting lacked can lead to serious Business loss.
Q. What is Security Threat?
A. Any risk that can potentially harm a computer system is known a security thread.
There are two types of Security Threats.
1. Physical Threats - Internal, External, Human.
Ex;- are like fire in computer, any thief steals your computer etc.
2. Non-Physical Threats - Worms, Viruses, Trojans, Spyware etc.
Worms- The organization must have logical security measures in place.
Viruses- An organization must have sorts of cognitive cybersecurity measures installed.
Trojans- An authentication methods can be, in the form of user ids and strong passwords, smart card or biometric etc.
Spyware- Efficient IPS/IDS systems is an essential in today's cybersecurity era.
Q. What are Ethical hackers skills?
A. 1. Programming Languages like HTML, JS, PHP, SQL, PYTHON, BASH etc.
2. In-depth knowledge of operating systems. Like: Windows, Android, IOS, Ubuntu etc.
3. Organizing information. Like: What are IPs, LANs, Routers, VLAN, Ping etc.
4. Database knowledge. Like: TPT, TOS, OTT etc.
5. Linux information. Like: Kali Linux, Parrot OS, Debian, Blaackarch etc. Can be used to perform a hacking task.
6. Wireless Technologies like: Bluetooth, Hotspot, WiFi etc.
7. Scripting, Web Applications, Forensics, Advance TCP\ IP , Reverse Engineering etc.Q. Why to learn programming?
A. 1. Hackers are the problem solver and tool builders, learning how to make programs will help you implement solutions to problems.
2. Writing programs as a hacker will help you to automate many tasks which would usually take lots of time to complete.3. Writing programs can also help you identify and exploit programming errors in applications that you will be targeting.
4. You can customize the already existing applications and add your methods to suit your needs.
There are some Ethical Hacking Tools For example:
Netssparker, Nmap, Burpsuite, acunetix, SQLmap are some tool which are helpful for Ethical Hacking.
There are some Social Engineering Techniques for hacking.
For example:
Phising is the most common technique which is mostly used for Social Engineering.
Q. What are Cryptography?
A. "Cryptography is the study and application of techniques that hide the real meaning of information by transforming it into nonhuman readable formats and vice versa".
For example:
Ques. What is Cryptanalysis?
A. Cryptanalysis is the art of trying to decrypt the encrypted messages without the use of the key that was used to encrypt the messages.
This takes a lot of time, storage, battery etc.
There are some Cryptanalysis techniques some of the most common techniques are : Brute force, Dictionary attack, Rainbow attack ect.
There are many types of Cryptographic Algorithms some of them with most commonly used are:
